in the 1980s and are amazingly easy and rewarding to work on.

DVS Volvo 240 B230F rear cam seal plateB230F engines in 1986 - 1993 240s feature a large rubber bung seated in a recess in the back of the head, up against the firewall. This bung can fail or be blown out due to PCV and other related issues. Our camshaft seal plate prevents the bung from being forced out of the recess, potentially preventing massive oil leaks and engine failure. Camshaft seal plate is made from laser cut, coated, mild steel and comes complete with required fasteners.

King Springs for Volvo 240 and 260King Springs spring sets are an ideal handling upgrade for Volvo 240 sedans and wagons. Springs offer lowering of approx 30mm from standard ride height and the car will take on a more aggressive stance. DVS 'Special' front springs for Volvo 240We've spent a lot of time driving and racing 240s. As a result we've come up with a great option to the regular King Springs spring for those who want something a bit more aggressive. Instead of a 30mm drop in ride height, our spring has a 40mm drop and a higher spring rate for a much firmer ride. While the ride is firmer than the King Springs front springs and much firmer than standard, you could still live with it every day. The car feels more stable under hard breaking and in longer, sweeping corners. We think that the further reduction in front ride height just looks better! :) These springs are only available in pairs and will compliment King Springs rear springs very well in your 240 sedan or wagon. DVS 'Track' front springs for Volvo 240We've come up with another great spring option to our own DVS 'Special' Springs for the front of the Volvo 240. Instead of the 40mm drop in ride height with our DVS 'Special' front spring, our new 'Track' front spring has a 50mm-55mm drop and a higher spring rate again for a considerably firmer ride. This spring is ideal as a track day spring where you may not wish to use coilovers. Recommended only with a performace-focused shock absorber and we suggest using some means of geometry correction. GAZ Gold Coilovers for Volvo 240In 2015, we began offering GAZ Gold coilovers. Designed for fast road, track day and tarmac motorsport use, The GAZ Gold coilover package for the Volvo 240 is fantastic and features induction hardened piston rods and have a multi point adjustable control knob to adjust bump and rebound. These units are filled with high viscosity index fluid to alleviate cavitation and have an internal gas cell to help prevent fade. Front struts are sold as complete units, including spring (and helper spring where required), adjustable strut assembly, bump stop and top hat. Solid billet or adjustable strut mounts are available at additional cost. A matching rear shock absorber is also available, as is an adjustable rear perch and spring arrangment. Made in England.

DVS Volvo 240 Strut tube to LCA spacersDesigned to be used with DVS Volvo 240 steering rack end spacers, DVS strut tube to lower control arm spacers correct the suspension geometry issues caused as a result of lowered ride height. When lowered, the lower control arms on a Volvo 240 are no longer at an optimum angle, and as such tyre wear issues can become a problem. Bump-steer can become an issue as the wheel moves through its range of travel, particularly in a motorsports or performance application. Includes required fasteners.

DVS Volvo 240 and 260 adjustable panhard bar - TYPE 1(with rod ends) 240s with lowered suspension often have a problem with the left rear tyre fouling on the inside of the wheel arch at various stages of wheel travel - reversing out of driveways, long sweeping corners, etc The reason for this is that when lowered springs are installed, the fixed-length standard panhard bar pulls the body across to the left. Adjusting the length of the panhard bar compensates for this and allows fine tuning of the rear end alignment. Our TYPE 1 adjustable panhard bar is solid-mounted and features adjustable rod ends. This design also eliminates bushes as you would find on a standard panhard bar and provides a more planted feel when cornering, by eliminating sidways movement of the rear end under cornering loads. Ideal for motorsports use. Fitting is simple and can be done with common hand tools. Adjustable panhard bars are powdercoated in Charcoal Metallic Pearl wtih other colours available at additional cost upon request.

DVS Volvo 240 and 260 adjustable panhard bar - TYPE 2(on bar adjustable with bushes) As with our original adjustable panhard bar design above, this adjustable panhard bar is designed to correct the location of the rear axle in relation to the body after lowered springs have been fitted. When lowered springs are installed, the fixed-length standard panhard bar causes the diff housing to move across within the body. Adjusting the length of the panhard bar compensates for this issue. Unlike the DVS TYPE 1 panhard bar (above) the length of the bar is adjusted at one end of the bar itself rather than adjusting the rod ends. This panhard bar uses urethane bushes for a compliant ride. Fitting is simple and can be done with common hand tools. Adjustable panhard bars are powdercoated in Charcoal Metallic Pearl wtih other colours available at additional cost upon request.

DVS Volvo 240 and 260 lower chassis bracesDVS lower chassis braces, are similar in design to the factory-fitted braces on some 260 series models. Our lower braces can be fitted to any 240 or 260 series Volvo, although they do require the drilling of some holes. Lower chassis braces are made from 25mm OD chrome-moly tube and come, ready to fit, with instructions and high-tensile fasteners. Powdercoated in Charcoal Metallic Pearl. Other colours are available at additional cost, upon request.

DVS Volvo 240 aluminium checkerplate sumpguardDVS aluminium checker-plate replacement sumpguards bolt up in place of the original plastic belly pans that are prone to breaking or cracking after years of use on the roads. Our sumpguards were designed with this in mind and are also perfectly suited to those who use their 240s a little more aggressively or in competition. The sump guards bolt up using the original holes and mounting hardware from the original belly pan. They are made from 2mm thickness (4mm high ridges) aluminium checker-plate, suitable for 4 cylinder models only.
